Our experienced nursing team provides compassionate, skilled care for NDIS participants with complex medical needs. Whether support is delivered in-home, in community, or during a stay at Myka Place, our nurses prioritise comfort, communication, and consistency.

What We Offer

Our nursing services are delivered by registered and enrolled nurses experienced in disability and community care. Services include:

Complex Health Care
• Tracheostomy care
• Enteral (PEG/PEJ/NG) feeding
• Seizure and epilepsy management (including rescue medication protocols)
• Stoma care and bowel management
• Catheter care (suprapubic or indwelling)

Medication Management
• Medication administration (including injections)
• PRN and Schedule 8 medication oversight
• Clinical monitoring of medication side effects and efficacy
• Medication charts and safe storage systems

Clinical Monitoring & Preventative Care
• Wound care and pressure area management
• Skin integrity monitoring and pressure injury prevention
• Diabetes support (including insulin administration)
• Respiratory care (suction, nebulisers, oxygen)
• Support following hospital discharge

Health Plans & Documentation
• Individualised care planning and risk assessments
• NDIS-required nursing assessments (e.g. SIL, SDA, high-risk support needs)
• Collaboration with allied health and treating medical teams
• Clinical input into behaviour support and restrictive practice oversight

How We Work

We provide flexible delivery of nursing services across:
• In-home visits for regular care or urgent health needs
• During support shifts with our Therapy Assistants or Support Workers (nurse delegation available)
• At Myka Place, with overnight clinical support when required
• Telehealth consultations and clinical assessments
• Emergency response planning in collaboration with your GP and NDIS team

Every service is delivered in line with best practice, the NDIS Practice Standards, and with full respect for participant autonomy and family involvement
